Welcome to Texas by Sally Farley, though a very short novella, was a
clear picture of how meeting someone new can change your life.
Kacey moved to Texas for many reasons, she just didn’t realize that Jack had
been one of them. Luckily for her she was cursed with a clumsiness that
brought him running to her aid. When she gets home and finds she is having
problems with one of her neighbors she calls the police only to find, yet
again, Jack coming to her rescue.
Jack seems to find women in the grocery store lately and the new girl is a
klutz! All he wants to do is get home and start cooking his fajitas for his
date and he ends up coming to the aid of Kacey twice in less than an hour.
For a real life idea of how relationships can start and
end please read Welcome to Texas. Though I thought this novella was
a little short (I’m a book piggy!) I would read it again just to get that
warm and fuzzy feeling that reading it allowed me to have. Take a moment in
time and give your brain a treat with this delightful little novella by
Sally Farley.
