Synopsis:A proper
bank employee climbing the career ladder, Shasta Brooks fantasizes about
sexy computer consultant, Dane Wingate, every time he's in the bank...and
even when he isn't. Much to her dismay, he hasn't asked her out even though
he openly flirts. Then her friends throw her a well-intentioned thirtieth
birthday party and hire the hottest male stripper in Seattle to help her
celebrate. There's no mistaking the man behind the mask. Dane's secret is
safe with Shasta, but now that she knows, she's ready for a private
performance.

Bank teller, Shasta Brooks is interested in her customer Dane Wingate. When
at her surprise birthday the Macho Marauder shows up as the entertainment
she immediately recognizes him. After the guest leave Dane returns to
explain why he is the Macho Marauder and ends up staying the weekend. Will
they make it as a couple when Monday morning dawns?
Often when reading a book for a review I’m presented with an interesting
premise and while the story is good, it doesn’t just live up to my
expectations. Unexpected Encounter is just such a book. While there is
nothing horrible about it, there just isn’t much that propels it into the
category of earning an “A”, for me. The sex is hot, the plot is handled
very well. Both Shasta and Dane are well defined and have sufficient
complexity to make the book something I enjoyed and would recommend.
