Two on the Hunt by Heather Hiestand is a roller coaster
ride of emotions. A stand alone sequel to One Juror Down, Ms. Hiestand
supplies enough of a back story so that you don’t feel the least
bit lost.
Georgia has had a hard life but she’s finally getting it back together.
While staying on her brothers boat waiting for her condo to be ready her
young daughter is kidnapped. Lucky for Georgia that there is a gorgeous
hunky bounty hunter at the Marina as well – he’s working another
case or so they think.
The attraction between Yun and Georgia is immediate even if they both
try to ignore it and the romantic tension between the two is a nice part
of this story. The trials that these two and Georgia’s family go
through really tie you up in knots and I and so many twists it almost
got confusing.
I enjoyed Two on the Hunt. It is a good tale of romantic
suspense, heavy on the suspense part. But the sparks are definitely there
between Georgia and Yun to give you a healthy dose of tension and just
a bit of lovin’. I liked the secondary characters and how involved
Georgia’s family stayed to help through thick and thin, and I really
loved Yun’s mom. Two on the Hunt proves that you
can go home again and that second chances though difficult to achieve
are worth all the effort.
