Synopsis:
Star Prescott reluctantly takes her doctor’s advice to relax away from
her office in a cold dank castle keep in northern England. But when she
investigates a strange noise down a dark corridor, she embarks on a journey
that changes her forever.
The man she encounters seems familiar to her. Has she seen him somewhere
before? Star quickly realizes she shouldn’t be in this place or this time,
but it’s too late. Her presence has changed things. Now how does she fix the
mess she has made and give Colin Kendall the future he deserves?
Is there any way to protect her heart, or is it too late for that, as well?
Has she fallen in love with a man she shouldn’t even know? Is she out of
time with Colin, or will there be Time to Keep?

Susan Cody’s new time travel short story, Time to Keep,
is a unique and touching romance. It is just the type of book to read when
you’re in the mood for a heartwarming love story.
Starr Prescott has been given orders by her doctor to take time off from her
high pressure job and life and relax. She ends up vacationing at an old
English castle where she can’t seem to connect to the internet or call her
office in New York. While walking through the castle, she is drawn to a
sound down a dark corridor where she was specifically told to stay away
from. Starr can’t help herself and decides to investigate only what she
finds is going to more than change her life.
Colin Prescott finds Starr face down in the grass. When she comes to, she
realizes she knows this man, but something is really wrong. She’s not in her
time anymore, she’s in the past! As she stays in the past and spends more
time with Colin, the two realize that there is a strong connection between
them, the only problem is that Starr doesn’t belong in his time, she belongs
in the future.
Starr and Colin are wonderful characters. The bond that they form is very
special. The element of time travel worked really well in this story.
Time to Keep is a sweet romance and even though it isn’t a very long
story, there is enough drama, love, tears and happiness to satisfy any
romance reader.
