Synopsis:

It seems Kandace Parker’s freezer in her ice cream shop
is always breaking down. Sure it’s old, but come on! She promised her
Grandpa she would keep the store in the family, but it’s getting more
difficult as her profits turns to mush. She has to turn to Jason Chapman,
former failed lover, to come to her rescue.
Years ago, Kandy lusted after Jason. But for some unknown reason (to her) he
left her virginal and naked. What’s that about? And he thinks he can just
ask her out now?
Jason knows why he left Kandy the way he did. He wasn’t ready to settle
down, and he knew even then she was the real deal. So he waited. Now it’s
time, but he has to overcome her resistance. A little sabotage, a little
bribery. What can it hurt?
This was a cute quick read. I loved the way the two interacted. Be sure to
have a cool drink, or better yet ice cream, when you read this tale. You’ll
need it!
