Teach Me
is the first book I’ve read by Cindy Spencer Pape but it won’t be my last.
Ms. Pape weaves a contemporary love story with a few threads of the
paranormal, making this an unexpected storyline with great characters.
From almost the first time Lydia met Galen
Forsythe she was head over heels. She spent the next three years trying to
prove to him she was an adult. But when she sat down to take her final and
couldn’t write a thing everything changed.
Galen couldn’t get his eyes off of Lydia.
Knowing it was improper he would never give in to his urges or, would he?
He always had to stay behind his podium when she was in class, just to
disguise his ummm “happiness” to see her! *wink*
When Galen saw Lydia so distressed he
couldn’t help but reach out to her, which of course led to a whole lot more
once they got to his office. Before you can say Medieval History – the two
are falling for each other. They still have hurtles of course, they have to
get passed Galen’s need to hide their relationship from his fellow faculty
and his son. Things start to get more than a little strange when Lydia
starts examining an ancient scroll and she finds a beautiful golden ring.
Then the fun really begins.
I really loved Teach Me.
It was a wonderfully fun and sexy book. The relationship between Galen and
Lydia was unbelievably steamy with a capital “S” and the love that grew
between them only made it more so. A very quick paced book with a really
great surprise twist, this is one book you won’t want to put down until
you’ve finished it. You need to run out and get Teach Me and learn
some new lessons of your own. |
