can't keep his hands off her. Because of the problems his people are having,
Damien is afraid to attempt the conversion necessary to make her his mate.
But Katie is determined to help him in his quest and to become the gargoyle

Gargoyles and Witches and
Spells oh my… Cindy Spencer Pape quickly introduces her audience to one of
the most charismatic and appealing nonhuman heroes this reader has had the
pleasure to meet in a short story. From the start,
Damien St.
Pierre steps into Katie Calhoun's life, literally into her
hot tub and takes control, and we are all so much happier for it. In
Stone and Earth, chemistry between the landlady and her gorgeous
new tenant is instant and combustible. While definitely graphic, Ms. Pape's
love scenes are softly erotic, teasing the senses rather than merely
advancing the character's story to the next level.
I found the
historical background of the Gargoyle society engaging and informative, and
I like how the author ties Damien's missing artifacts into the paranormal
taskforce of which Katie is also a part. For a short story, I was awed by
the complete attention to detail Ms. Pape showed with all parts of her
story, from Kate's background to that of her old roommates.
I really like this book, and highly recommend it to anyone who wants to
spend a few enjoyable hours, with the man of Katie's dreams – I did.
