Trevor Sloan, knows he is the best candidate for the meeting of the alien
race, The Shoon, a name given to them by the Federation of Worlds. The
enlightenment Trevor receives while onboard the alien ship is not the
information that the Federation sent him to get. After being arrested as a
traitor to his race, Amanda, his lover finds a way to help him escape. Will
they be able to escape the Federation and their plan or are they doomed to
have the same fate as those still in the Federation?
I thought that Ms. Mason's Shoon Joining was a
very detailed quickie.
Trevor seemed to take situations at face value. Amanda
was a tough cookie who made sure that those around her knew if they
overstepped their bounds. I really liked that characteristic in her. The
level of trust that Trevor and Amanda had for one another could only be that
strong when love is involved. Their sex scenes were on a level that some
would be envious of. Shoon Joining was an enjoyable read that will
leave you wondering about the plants you have growing around your house.
