Synopsis:

Liberty Wainwright needs a man and not just any man. She needs Brady St. James, otherwise known as the Saint. His skills and knowledge make him the only choice to rescue her father. Now, if she can convince him to help her, she'll just have to ignore her cravings for the man she's never forgotten.

Brady is stunned the woman who left him high and dry is back and asking for his help. Their affair had been doomed from the start. Libby liked to live by the rules and Brady lived to break them. He'd sworn she'd be back, but he hadn't expected it to take over six years for her to return.

I must say Melissa Schroeder inevitably entertains and seldom disappoints her readers; Seducing the Saint is certainly no exception. The plotline is more than credible with Libby seeking her old friend Brady's help to find her missing father who is supposedly searching for an obscure and priceless artifact. They encounter a number of exciting and dangerous situations that keep story entertaining. The search allows Libby and Brady to rekindle their old romance, while it also gives Brady a chance to revisit his memories and to wonder again what caused them to eventually separate.

As Ms. Schroeder gives us vivid and visual flashbacks through Brady's subconscious, we come to see that their separation was not due to a lack of physical chemistry: Libby and Brady are quite the steamy pair. They do have a few other moral and ethical differences that cause issues between them, and this sometimes infantile squabbling is an ongoing source of amusement. In the end, will they work things out or will reason prevail; only Libby knows…. Above all Seducing the Saint is a FUN book, Ms. Schroeder's characters have fun with each other, and one expects she wants her readers to have a good time as well, I know I did.
