Synopsis:

When Daisy books a Sixties extravaganza on the internet, she thinks hippies and free love. Only she misses one tiny word in the advertisement and ends up at a weekend for over-sixties at Bedlingham Manor.

When sexy hotel manager Jake casts Daisy as a nun in the murder mystery, she is ready to scream and call the weekend off. But then Jake shows up dressed as a priest and he can’t wait to uncover the red lace beneath the nun costume. Jake and Daisy don’t expect to fall in love but they discover that their weekend of hot sex might be much more than they bargained for.

Daisy shows up for her weekend of fun, armed to the teeth with attitude and sexy clothes, only to discover her mistake about what the Manor is really offering.

Between the sheep incident and her almost totaling her car, I loved this character. She took her lumps and just kept on going. Daisy is much more than she appears, and has had to fight pretty hard to be who she is today. What’s her big secret?

Jake has just cruised by in life as the second son. He’s not had any real reason to work too hard. He knows he’ll never inherit. Why knock himself out if it’s not necessary? His true love is writing, but no one really sees that as a career. Then his father presents him with a challenge against his older brother. Who will win?

When these two first meet, Daisy is immediately interested. Who wouldn’t be? Jake is a God, and has the statue to prove it. The chemistry is fast and flammable. But Jake runs hot and cold, and Daisy is confused. What is up with that? If he’s not shoving her in a closet, he’s locking her in the boiler room. As if!

The whole weekend is a mystery, in more ways that one, and you’ll have to read the story to find out whodunit.
