Synopsis:
Lethally handsome,
powerfully dynamic, with a mouth that looks like it’s spent a lifetime
dominating the opposite sex, Colt oozes energy and sex appeal. Too bad he
hates
women. Ever since his first wife betrayed him, Colt has steered clear of
entanglements,
ignoring his own potent masculine needs.
Renny should never have accepted Colt’s drunken marriage proposal but she
just
couldn’t help herself. She’s hopelessly in love with her brand new husband.
She might
not have the sexy curves of a centerfold model, but she yearns to unleash
the raw
power he keeps reined beneath that icy, indifferent facade.
While Renny fights to save her fledgling marriage and change her husband’s
mind
about women, the love-wary Colt finds himself fighting the intense
attraction he feels for
her. When all is said and done, Colt’s once scarred and damaged heart will
belong to
Miss September.

Several months ago a friend recommended Madison Hayes’ Calendar Girl
series to me. Since then I’ve had them on my to be read list. Miss
September was my introduction to the series and what a lovely
introduction it was.
Colt Hardin had sworn off women after finding his wife in bed with his two
best friends. While on a business trip to Las Vegas with his assistant,
Renny Clarkson, his ex wife calls and he goes on a bender. He awakens in a
hotel room with no memory of the previous evening. When he finds Renny in
the shower crying he feels like an absolute heel and is stunned when she
informs him they are married. With his past history, he wants out of the
marriage but wants Renny to be the one to call it off.
What follows is a delightful romp into the misadventures and
misunderstandings between two individuals who the reader realizes love each
other. There’s something for every reader in Miss September, humor,
hot sex and a wonderful story. If not on your “To Be Read” list, it
definitely should be.
