Made for Two Heroes by Madison Hayes is the third book in a trilogy and can definitely be read as a stand alone. Though I have to say after reading this one I’m definitely going back to read the other two. Set in the future on a different world, the story is gripping, the characters likeable and well developed and you couldn’t ask for hotter heroes!

Lacey is an Adept, basically she can adapt to whatever she needs to accommodate her surroundings and needs just like a chameleon. But after suffering a horrible experience in battle she has changed and become more and less. She has more capabilities than she ever dreamed possible but a fear of giving her heart to one person; having loved and lost she doesn’t want to feel the pain of losing her one love ever again.

Jason has his own demons which keep him in a strangle hold. Loving Lacey from afar he can’t bring himself to approach her, and when he finds out she wants more than one man – he knows she will not be for him. That’s when Junkie, the tall dark and sexy playboy enters the picture. Determined to give Lacey what she needs he takes the two away. As their commanding officer he is determined to heal them both, but will Junkie be left out in the cold when all is said and done?

Made for Two Heroes is definitely going on my keeper shelf. I really loved these characters and the story. Ms. Hayes tells a wonderful tale, filled with heartfelt emotion and some of the steamiest scenes I’ve read in a while. Lacey is one lucky lady, Jason and Junkie are two extremely sexy men; you definitely won’t want to miss the adventures of this trio!
