Synopsis:
Very single Margot Smith is set up for disaster or a dream-come-true when
her family’s airline hires sexy pilot Wall Phillips. She’s an up and coming
manager who can’t date employees, but there’s nothing wrong with trying to
be friendly, right? Besides, who can help getting involved when the new guy
is destroying your best friend’s career!
Wall Phillips is consumed by the family secret that brought him to Detroit.
He doesn’t want a relationship, despite his eyes being continually drawn to
the luscious Margot, who he thinks is a substitute flight attendant. His
goal is to do the job right and get back to his personal life, which leaves
no time for checking out the coworkers.
A woman who can’t date pilots. A man who needs to focus on his brother’s
precarious situation. Two people who can’t keep their thoughts or hands off
each other. It’s time to decide what they really want from life.

In Flight by Heather Hiestand has you rooting for
the main characters from the minute that they meet. Written in such a way to
keep you wanting to hear more, In Flight is a must read
Margot Smith is not just a substitute stewardess for Smith Airlines, she is
management and part of the family. When she meets Wall, the newest airline
pilot, he just doesn’t put two and two together. Trying very hard to be what
his namesake implies Wall wants to be a by-the-book employee from day one.
Soon he finds out that it’s hard to put the rule book where it should be
when he can’t get his eyes off of Margot.
Margo has made it clear to herself that she would never date an employee of
Smith Airlines. Not again, not after being hurt. But for some reason she
can’t get that sexy pilot out of her mind. When she finds out that he seems
to have it out for her best friend, she steps in. Luckily for her they come
to an amiable compromise.
With so many things seemingly in the way of their potential relationship,
you sit back wondering for nearly the entire book how it could possibly work
out.
If there had been just a bit more information on the other plots in the
book, Wall’s brother and Margot’s best friend, I would have given this one a
straight A. I fell in love with Margot’s pushy attitude (I see a little of
me in there!) and rooted for her to get what she truly wants, love and
family! This was a book I couldn’t stop reading and didn’t want to put down.
I hope you too will find yourself enthralled!
