Poor Valentine she can
only bring herself to have cyber one night stands. The losses of her past
to painful to open herself up for hurt again. Then Master Noah finds her
online but she doesn’t realize he’s a lot more than he seems.
Noah has been turned into
an incubus by none other than Cupid who turns out to be a demon and not the
cute cherub we think he is. For more years than he can remember Noah has
tried to hold back the beast but ends up loving all the women to death. But
this time he wants it to be different – he feels something for Val and he
doesn’t want her to die.
When she rebuffs him
online, Noah materializes in her apartment and has incredibly hot sex with
Val – the only drawback for her is that he’s invisible. The strange thing
for Noah is that after their release the beast is satisfied, at least
temporarily. This is unheard of for him and he doesn’t understand how….but
he’s determined to stay with Val and to keep her alive, if only he can keep
her off Cupid’s radar.
Cupid’s Kisses –
Redemption: Incubus
is a very steamy read but then again it’s about an incubus! The demon Cupid
twist is very original and gives this a nice slant on the usual. Noah is
hot, even though for most of the story he’s invisible but Val can sure
“feel” him. Her special healing powers are a nice touch and help to bring
this story to a happy ending, one that both characters really deserved. I
recommend this quick read – a Valentine’s treat without the calories!
