Synopsis:

When Florian LeFleur's wife runs away with an acrobatic troupe, leaving him with three marriageable daughters, he resolves to take them to Came-a-lot in search of husbands. Honeysuckle, his middle daughter, resigns herself to settling for just one man, though in her heart she longs to find two special men who will make mad passionate love to her for the rest of their days.

The first night at the inn, Honey encounters the hunkalicious Hieney twins, Peter and Dick, who claim her immediately and announce their intention to marry her at the first opportunity. Their plans are delayed as they deal with a coup attempt against King Arthur, are abducted by a wicked sorceress, experience wild poison-induced passion in a cave and meet a sexy well-endowed unicorn.

SRR GRADE: B

What happens when your father packs all of your and your two sister's belongings and tells you that you need to go to the city to find a husband? What happens when you know that only two men at the same time get you off? Will you find a husband that will allow you to bring another to your bed? What if you find a set of twins named Dick and Peter that are looking for one woman to be their wife? You have hit the jackpot.

Honeysuckle by Anny Cook was a surprisingly funny book. Honey was such a strong character. She took charge but let her men think they were in control of situations. Peter and Dick thought they were alpha men but Honey always seemed to let them know that their relationship was a partnership with everything shared equally. They were not above reddening Honey's butt when they felt the need arise; and the need seemed to rise a lot between them. I would have loved for the secondary characters to be more vivid and more background about them given. I recommend this book as a good, steamy quick read.
