Synopsis:
Callie and Hayden James have nothing in common, other than their last names
and a pair of Dalmatians.
Callie hasn’t see her ex-husband in two years, and now she has to spend two
days in his company to attend the wedding of mutual friends. No problem,
right? She’s had time to overcome his betrayal.
Hayden never stopped loving his wife, but after spending a year dodging
flying plates, splitting up was the only answer. They even had to separate
their dogs so the human couple wouldn’t need to see each other again.
Can their friends’ wedding start a truce between Hayden and Callie?

Sporting her new haircut and new curve hugging dress,
Callie James promised her best friend, Janie, that she would not fight or
cause a scene with her ex-husband, Hayden, at Janie and Nate's rehearsal
dinner. She wasn't prepared for the assault on her senses that he still
caused. After being divorced for two years, the feelings were still there
but Callie wasn't ready to be heartbroken again. Would the dalmatians that
were split up during the divorce be the magnet that brings the family back
together again?
His and Hers Dalmatians was such an everyday realistic novel. Callie seemed
to be at odds between what her head wanted and what her heart needed. Hayden
seemed to genuinely want to get his wife back but he seemed to be a genius
at work but when it came to Callie, he didn't seem to know how hard to push
to get what he wanted. I thought the dogs attitudes reflected their owner.
Lucy was well behaved and she seemed to have a very structured life - like
Callie. Whereas Ricky was impulsive and playful - like Hayden. The romance
between Callie and Hayden was portrayed innocently in the novel which I
thought was refreshing. I really enjoyed reading this novel and it is one
that will leave a smile on your face while you are reading it.
