Synopsis:
Anjelia Romere falls in love with Julian Bax, a known master vampire. Yet
she is pursued relentlessly by the insane Leo Freedman, the werewolf king.
Her life is turned upside down when she realizes her vampire betrayed her by
erasing her memory of being the wolf queen.
Now she wonders if the vampires she loves are the good guys and if the
wolves are really the villains. Especially when Leo breaks her mesmerization
and she realizes why she fell in love so quickly after avoiding the vampires
for years.
Already tied for life to the master vampire as his human servant, yet
destined to be the wolf king's mate, Anjelia wonders who to choose. While
both offer hot passion and steamy nights, one option is insanity, the other,
death.

Anjelia Romere doesn't want anything to do with men
after her ex-husband tried to sell her to werewolves to pay off a debt.
So when Anjelia finds out that Julian Bax is a vampire, he offers her his
protection thereby giving her his first mark. While attending one of the
wolf meetings with her best friend, she meets Dr. Leo Freedman, the wolf
king, Leo becomes insane around the full moon because he put a lot of his
powers into healing his human wolf queen, Anjelia who didn't know anything
about marks or protections from masters or kings. As Anjelia gets to know
both of the men who claim marks on her, erased memories and questions
arise as to who she should trust and who she should love.
Forgotten Kisses
takes you on a steamy ride that puts you in the middle of a fierce
tug-of-war between humans, vampires, and werewolves. Anjelia seemed to be
a really conflicted heroine and at different points, both men helped and
hurt her, Julian and Leo were both alpha males and neither wanted to give
an inch. It took Anjelia being the alpha female to control them and make
them work together for any of their relationships to work. The romance
between Anjelia and Julian was was very fast, showy and flashy whereas the
romance between her and Leo was more subdued and drawn out. The
difference between the sex Anjelia had with each was also very evident.
And both ways gave you butterflies in your stomach. Forgotten
Kisses was my introduction to Ms. Marks and I a definitely
looking forward to reading more of her offerings.
