Synopsis:

Dr. Tracey Nichols doesn't have time for the fun in her life. Work at a Hospice, as well as the local hospital, absorb her waking hours but her interest in the anatomy of the handsome playboy mechanic manages to capture her dreams.

Denzil Wright loves to flirt. He's not ready to be any woman's Mr. Right until he has the chance to spend time with one dedicated, workaholic doctor.

Can love create common ground between the intellectual, labcoat-trussed doctor and the free-wheeling, blue-collar worker?

Dr. Tracy Nichols is a Hospice doctor. She doesn’t have much time for fun and games, but even if she did there’s only one man she wants to play with.

Denzil Wright loves all kinds of women. As an accomplished flirt, he keeps things light and fun. After spending his days working as a mechanic he looks forward to fun and games at the local bar.

That is until the night his cousin’s best friend walks into the bar looking like his favorite wet dream. He knows Tracy, he’s seen her working at the hospital where he volunteers his time, but he’d never seen her open and relaxed. Teaching her to play pool makes him want her with a heat he won’t ignore. Though she isn’t like the usual women he goes for, he can’t keep his mind or his hands off her.

One kiss has him almost losing his head and them going too far in a public parking lot in broad daylight! He is afraid he’s scared her off until he receives her invitation to go to a B&B for a week to celebrate her birthday.

The week gives Tracy and Denzil the opportunity to explore an play –and boy do they!

Tracy is afraid Denzil will learn how boring she really is, that she isn’t a party girl and would rather be home relaxing instead of being at the bar and tries to get out while the getting’s good.

Hurt and a little angry, Denzil isn’t letting go without a fight. After all, when you find the love of your life, you have to give it all you’ve got.

Eight Ball is a sexy little read that was a lot of fun. It shows the true feelings—highs and lows of a relationship when the couple are different. I recommend it.
