What's a girl supposed to
do when she's commanded by her best client to put together a wedding? And
not just any wedding, but a wedding for his wife's prize pug? Why, put
together the best Texas-sized wedding the area of Dallas-Fort Worth has ever
seen, of course! And that is exactly what Liza DeLane does.
What she doesn't plan on is
a tall, dark and equally Texan sized complication in the form of her hosts'
son Blake Dean. Blake has lusted after Liza for some time, and sees this
little wedding as his perfect opportunity to coral and rope his little filly
now that he has her exactly where he wants her – or so he thinks.
Unfortunately, Liza has abandonment issues they both have to sort through
before a relationship can work. Luckily for us, Blake takes care of his end
with sensitivity and a little hands on manipulation, everything a heroine
and her reader could hope for.
My only objection to this
story was the length, by its conclusion I was so wrapped up in Liza and
Blake's lives I didn't want the story to end! As the secondary characters
were just as much fun as our hero and heroine, maybe Ms. Freeman will write
a story for Becky or the Dean parents and we'll find out what happened to
Liza and Blake….
