At least that's what the judge says when she grows snakes out of her head. And Erin finds herself without a job, without a boyfriend, and with the threat of her mother coming to take care of her. Unfortunately, what happens to Erin is not unique--all over America, people are being transformed--and Erin is caught up in the backlash. Then there's the sexy college professor--is he interested in her, or just in the snakes?

Erin Tsong, Divorce Attorney, is on the path to becoming a Partner with the Law Offices of Hale, Storm, and Stunk. That was until she grew snakes while confronting a witness on the stand. She wasn't the only person being transformed into a mythological creature. After being fired and kicked out of her apartment, in steps Assistant Professor of Literature and the Classics Callum King to lend her a hand. Erin takes on the case to defend one of the Transformed much to the dismay of almost everyone around her. Is Cal interested in her or is he all about the doors that researching her will open?

Rob Preece's book A Really Bad Hair Day was a comical and thought provoking story of what makes a human a human. The characters were well developed and the friendships forged would be long - lasting but there wasn't very much romance involved. This is a good contemporary paranormal because there was valuable lessons to be learned; discrimination is not something to be taken lightly and one ripple in the pond can cause a mighty tidal wave. We have all have bad hair days but there is always a way to make it better - go shopping for new shoes.
