My name is Whitney and I have been reading since I was 2 when I “read” Put Me In The Zoo by Dr. Seuss to my uncle, who thought I was a genius.  (I really had memorized it from the countless times my mom read me that book until I knew exactly when to turn the page).  I read voraciously, anything and everything I can get my hands on.  There is pretty much no genre that I do not like – but my first love (pun intended) is romance books.  I own too many books to count and it is not unheard for me to read and re-read the same books over and over.

I graduated from Mary Washington College in 1990 with a B. A. in Political Science and History and then went on to get a law degree from Roger Williams University and then practiced law for many years before I decided to go back to school and get a degree in Library and Information Science from the University of South Florida.  Lots of reading and lots of books involved with all those degrees and now I am surrounded by books all day everyday – dream come true for me.
