Synopsis:

A Darkly Enchanted Artifact.
A Passion to Outlast the Centuries.

Solaus had but one wish of the medallion: to save his dying bride. But when he placed the pendant around his neck, his wish was changed by a malevolent twist of magic that made him Djinn, but also took away the knowledge of what he is and who he used to be. Flung from Ancient Persia into immortality, Solaus has only the memory that he did not save his true love—and nothing more as time begins to pass.

Eager for a fresh start, New York City photographer, Kaitlin Sommers accepts a rare assignment on a deserted island fortress off the coast of Alexandria, Egypt. Surrounded by the shadowy underworld of illegal treasure smuggling, Kaitlin finds herself in the arms of man who seems to spring directly from dreams of her past—a man Fate threatens to tear her away from a second time.

Excerpt:

The heavy, polished doors stood open and glistened as the firelight sparkled off their ancient surface. Her friend took his leave with a slight bow and a smile, and was gone in absolute silence down the stone corridor.

Kaitlin was suddenly fearful of meeting this stranger, this man of whom she’d heard so many stories, so she remained just outside the warmth of the dining room in the cold, unforgiving stone corridor. A cool sea breeze drifted down the passage and she shivered, forcing her to take a step inside.

She could see the tall figure of a dark-haired man standing with his back to her in front of the warm fireplace. She felt a rush of nervous fluttering deep in her stomach as he turned to face her, and she was stunned to see the person standing before her.

“Greetings, M’Lady,” Solaus said in a warm, exotic voice.

He took two steps toward her, the stranger from the airport— the man of her dreams.
