SRR: Please, tell us a little about yourself. |
| Melissa
Lopez: I have many roles in my life, mother, wife, daughter,
sister, friend, and storyteller. |

SRR: What or who influenced you to become a writer? |
| Melissa
Lopez: Oh, my characters influenced me to give writing a try.
Without them I’d not be here. Well, and my husband. He’s always been
supportive. |

SRR: Tell us a little about your latest release Boomerang
Love? |
| Melissa
Lopez: Boomerang Love is a contemporary romance that takes
place in Australia one of the most beautiful and exotic places in the world.

SRR: What do you find attractive about werewolves? |
| Melissa
Lopez: I’ve always had a thing for Werewolves since reading
Donna Boyd’s old Harlequin Shadow series. I think Werewolves are sexy…and
frightening. |

SRR: Whether for research or signings, do you travel
much when it comes to your books? |
| Melissa
Lopez: Oh, I love to travel. I make it to a couple conferences
each year and always work in research. And I’ve traveled out of state for a
signing or two. |

|
SRR: Where do you get your ideas for your books? |
| Melissa
Lopez: My ideas can come from anywhere. They always develop
from different things. But most often a hero appears and starts to whisper
his tale to me. |

SRR: What are you currently working on? |
| Melissa
Lopez: I’ve got to have Riptide Love of my Thorns to my
Samhain editor by April 1st. I’m also working on a couple
proposals for my agent. |

Lopez: Oh yes. I’ve got a series launching on March 18th
from Samhain Publishing. I can’t wait for Dark Sentinel and my Netherworld
to come alive for others. My Netherworld site
