Welcome to Simply Romance Reviews, Lexie. It’s such a thrill to have you
here. We have been lucky enough to have read and reviewed many of your
stories and it’s a pleasure to be able to interview you. |
| Lexie Davis:
It’s my pleasure. Thanks for having me. |

SRR: Please
tell us a little bit about yourself? |
| Lexie Davis:
Um, let’s see…I’m a
published author with several books to my name. I write both erotic romance
and sensual contemporary romances. I’m also a Pure Romance consultant which
keeps me busy and is a lot of fun. |

SRR: What
influenced you to become a writer? |
| Lexie Davis:
My high school
English teacher. |
| |
|
SRR:
Who do you like to read? |
| Lexie Davis:
Many, many
authors. I love reading new authors but have a few of the “popular” authors
on my must-read list as well. Sandra Brown, Stephen King, Lora Leigh, Nora
Roberts, J.R. Ward…just to name a few. |

SRR:
You write both erotic and contemporary books. Do you find one more
challenging than the other to write? Do you see yourself penning any other
genres in the future? |
| Lexie Davis: One
is no difficult than the other. Each has their challenges and I enjoy
writing and reading both genres very much. As for penning future genres,
nothing is off-limits. *smiles* |

SRR:
How do you develop your stories and characters? Do you have characters
just come to you with a story that needs to be written? |
| Lexie Davis:
Each story is
different. Usually I start off with an idea. Maybe a sentence or two of plot
or something about my characters. From then on out I start typing and see
where the story leads. |

SRR:
What do you find more difficult writing, short stories or full length books?

| Lexie Davis:
Each have their challenges and I love writing them both. I would say shorter
works are harder to write because of the word count restrictions. |

SRR:
What is your favorite part of writing? |
| Lexie Davis:
Creating the
hunky heroes. *snickers* Honestly, I love the idea of knowing my characters
will get their happily ever after. That’s my favorite part. |

SRR:
What do you do when you’re not busy writing? |
| Lexie Davis: I
spend a lot of my spare time with my family and friends. I like watching
football and cheer for my favorite teams when they’re playing. I also have a
very large swimming pool where I hang out reading books during the summer.

Can you give us a little insight as to what you’re working on now?
|
| Lexie Davis:
I have a few
projects going at once right now. I have several full-length novels I’m
working on as well as a couple shorter works. Plenty of excitement, drama,
mystery and of course romance. |
